So I am just asking for another headset that could reproduce the same quality. I agree I am ussed to the surround sound of the Plantronics Gamecom 780 that is to my taste (and the taste of many many other) a great headset for retreaving amazing VIRTUAL surround sound. So those "shity headsets" with "zero quality" are actually doing what they should do, and what I ask. What makes or a not a good gaming headset, and not headphones, is spatialization and how that make virtual surround sound better. On another note, I don't have an amp, and most games don't even have hi-fi quality sounds anyway so that would be pointless. Hey Thank you for taking the time to reply, but I don't think the Sennheisers headphones are what I am looking for, even tho they surely have great sound quality, I am looking mostly for good spatialization and if I was looking for true surround I wouldn't go for a sennheiser either but more for some home cinemas or something. Thanks very much to anyone willing to help me. I don't really have a fixed budget even tho I'd prefer to stay under 300€ and I also need a microphone. I've seen the HyperX Cloud II come around a lot, is it good ? Might look for something of better quality.

After looking into it, I guess going for what's the closest to the Plantronics 780 would be best, or something that uses the same type of sound system which is 7.1 surround sound. So here I am, would like to ask what you all think and would recommend for good headsets for gaming. So now I'm kind of lost, I'm using my headset to play almost only video games, some times movies and I listen to music but that's ot the main goal.

Lastly I tried a Corsair (I think it was the VOID PRO wireless but I'm not sure) that uses Dolby 7.1 but still really not good. Then i tried the Steelseries Arctis 7 that uses Surround DTS sound and it was really not good either. I've tried the Plantronics RIG 800 HD that uses the Dolby Atmos sound and it really wasn't as good, it really felt bad to use and I was totally lost with the sound. Today I am looking to get myself a new headset. They use 7.1 surround sound and it is truly amazing. I preloaded the game along with many other ppl I know who don't have this issue. So here's my problem, I have had a Plantronics gamecom 780 headset for the past 9 years now, changed it 2 times and they still do wonders, the problem is that they aren't sold anymore. Stop Start8, ModernMix, and other Stardock Win 8.1 improvements. Stop Creative Audio services (bc I'm using a USB Plantronics Gamecom 780 headset) Disable all other processes not needed (OneDrive sync, Curse client, antivirus, etc)

My Logitech G500 I kept the software going) Disable mouse software for my Steelseries mouse. I've also tried the following which didn't help: My first two 'games' today went to load Defender, which resulted in the forever load time, then sits at Synchronizing Game Settings for 2 minutes, then times out.ģTB 'RAID' using Storage Spaces across 3 dissimilar drives. I find when I'm grouped up with my clan mates, I have the problem less frequently than when I'm trying to play solo. Heard some people say to turn off Shadowplay.
